Happy New Year to all

Jeremiah 17:7-8
"Blessed is the person who trusts in the LORD,
whose confidence is in Him.
He will be like a tree planted by the water
that sends out its roots by the stream.

It does not fear when heat comes;

its leaves are always green.

It has no worries in a year of drought
and never fails to bear fruit."

I've selected this New Years card because of the umbrellas. It has been raining here for days and days and days. I can't remember when it wasn't raining. So if one is handed lemons, make lemonade. Which is a good rule to follow in the new year. Look on the bright side, the positive side of things. This suddenly reminds me of Candide - All is for the best in the best of all possible worlds. Now this is not exactly what I am getting at. From my perspective things are as God means for them to be, and we are to watch and see what He is doing, and trust in Him as we work our way through things, knowing that He has a purpose for everything and it is for the best.
